In a large metropolitan area, such as Phoenix, Arizona, there are many senior care options. Lets look at some of the options that are available for senior care in the North Phoenix area. The first and perhaps best known option is the assisted living community. Assisted living communities provide apartment style living with supplemental caregivers to help residents with day to day activities of daily living. These include: bathing, meal preparation, medication management, and other help that their residents might require. The drawback of assisted living is that it can be quite expensive and sometimes these communities cannot care for those patients who need more intensive care.
